21st Century After School

 

 

The 21st CCLC (Century Community Learning Center) After School Program provides services for the district’s elementary, middle and high schools.  We service approximately 700 students in grades 2nd-12th.  We provide interventions and tutoring in reading and math, academic enrichment and educational field trip experiences after school M-Th for (3) hours per day.  Students can receive transportation home and a snack and evening meal are also provided to participating students.

Program Outcomes:

  • Students will show a 20% improvement in academic performance in reading and math
  • Students will show an overall 10% improvement in school attendance
  • Students will have a 10% reduction in disciplinary actions
  • Students will show a 10% improvement in social behaviors
